Applications

The 3-Mercaptopropyltriethoxysilane is mainly used with the inorganic fillers like carbon black and SiO2, etc. It is capable of activating, coupling, cross linking and reinforcing in polymers, such as rubber and silicone rubber, etc. It also has the functions similar as KH-580.

The 3-Mercaptopropyltriethoxysilane is usually sealed and stored in cool and well ventilated place away from fire and water.
